Governments need to be even more accountable for the allocation of costs of projects and department operating expenses. Some Ministries bear huge costs associated with the deployment of mobile resources, such as field services or mobile staff. VUE can greatly help manage and reduce the costs, reduce risk, increase employee safety and security. 

VUE hardware can be programmed to connect to existing Wi-Fi Hotspots. A city vehicle equipped with VUE hardware will use cellular technology to communicate location and engine data. When it returns to the maintenance yard at the end of a shift, it enters the yard’s Wi-Fi Hotspot. A server application connects to the hardware using the Wi-Fi connection and begins data upload.

The hardware’s cellular link remains connected during the Wi-Fi data transfer.
